Debra A. Conroy
(Deb) decided to become a lawyer because she wanted to help people solve their problems (and after she realized she didn't like Chemistry enough to become a doctor). Since 1999, Deb has been helping her clients solve their estate, business, and tax planning issues throughout Colorado. The most important part of her practice is to educate clients and explain in a straightforward manner, the often confusing information and options related to personal, tax, and business planning. Deb's goals are to ensure that none of her clients feel overwhelmed by the planning process and each person she meets knows she cares about their best interests and happiness. She represents families, entrepreneurs, and numerous businesses including operating farms and ranches, restaurants, and medical practices.
Deb grew up in Minnesota (and can still talk "Minnesootan" if you ask). She moved to Colorado when she was 19 and has lived in here since, aside from a 3-year stint at the University of Oregon where she attended law school. After law school, she moved back to Steamboat Springs and, despite having pledged to never go back to school again, Deb decided obtaining an LLM in Tax from University of Denver sounded like "fun." She now divides her time between the Front Range and Steamboat, covering all points in between (and north, south, west and east) - usually on her motorcycle if the weather cooperates.
